The Theology programme covers five main areas: Biblical studies, Church History, Pastoral studies, Theological and Ethical studies, and Religious and Philosophical studies., In addition to fulfilling requirements related to the above areas, students are also required to fulfil UWI courses, such as, English Foundation courses, a foreign language course and the Caribbean Studies Research project. The L.Th. /Diploma (Licentiate in Theology)
The L.Th./Diploma is a sixty credit programme that covers five main areas: Biblical studies, Church History, Pastoral studies, Theological and Ethical studies, and Religious and Philosophical studies and offers 60 credits. Course Content
Introduction
The Licentiate/Diploma in Theology (L.Th.) was developed to target those candidates with sufficient experience in pastoral ministry but who may not have the requisite academic qualifications for the BA degree. Students who start at this lower level have the opportunity to matriculate into the BA degree after completing certain requirements
