Counselling Services
Seminarian students have access to an in-house psychologist, spiritual directors and formators. The formator’s role is one of a guide for students discerning their religious vocation.
Other students will also have access to counselling services upon request. Contact the Dean’s Office.
Both seminarian and non-seminarian students have access to other types of support services from the UWI, including psychological and disability services. Over the past five years, students with special needs have accessed services through the Department of Student Support Services (DSSD) – Division of Student Services and Development (DSSD)
Students are made aware of all services through their academic advising sessions with the Dean.
Academic Advising
Students are aided with academic advising at the start of each semester. (See Academic Advising Procedure – 2025 Academic Advising PROCEDURE .pdf) This process offers students the opportunity to ask questions and be advised depending on their particular needs and circumstances. Academic Advising takes place with the Dean of Studies. To book appointments for academic advising please email secretary.dean@sjvum.edu.tt or registration@sjvum.edu.tt
